What are some other marketing tools and resources that you can use with or on your website?

There are now lots of things that can be done over the internet.

You can use blogs - such as this one which I set up to go along with this website.

You can add audio to your website - like this (in any color you want):

Or simply as a link like this - Sample Audio - that will bring up the audio player on your own computer.

You can add videos - by using YouTube - which is what I put on the blog as the welcome to this program. And just so you know, I only got my first videocam a few weeks ago, and this was my first YouTube video. Professional it isn't, and I need to lighten up a bit, but for a first one, it could certainly be worse :)! And just in case you missed it, here it is:

Nowadays there are webcasts, podcasts, internet radio, internet TV and a whole lot of other web tools that can be used.

There are also the social tools like MySpace, Facebook, and others that are becoming a part of the marketing process. I'm aware of them, but haven't really explored them to any great detail at this point.

You can also use forums, surveys, forms, blogs, etc to get feedback and interaction from your prospects and customers.

I would also invite you to visit Bravenet to take a look at the list of free services they provide that can be added to your website - like guestbooks, calendars, photo albums, and a whole lot more. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you use any of their features for free, they do come with advertising on them. There is the option of paying for those features if you want the ads removed.
