Drinks & Munchies

There's something very satisfying about having a cup of something to drink and something to munch on while you read. Here are some ideas for your enjoyment.

Wildberry Latte

Wildberry Latte

    • 1 cup milk
    • 1 cup water
    • 1 Tetley Wildberry Teabag
    • 1 teaspoon - 1 tablespoon powdered white chocolate
    • optional - whipped cream and berries

Heat one cup of milk and one cup of water to boiling. Steep a teabag of Tetley Wildberry herbal tea in that for several minutes. Remove the tea bag, pour into mugs. Add a generous teaspoon of powdered white chocolate* and stir till melted. If you want to get really decadent add whipped cream and top it with a berry! Yummy!

*Available at Starbucks, although I just used a fine grater to grate a slab of white chocolate.

Just the knowledge that a good book is awaiting one at the end of a long day makes that day happier. - Kathleen Norris

Books are the quietest and most constant of friends; they are the most accessible and wisest of counselors, and the most patient of teachers.
- Charles W. Eliot

Books are delightful society. If you go into a room and find it full of books - even without taking them from the shelves they seem to speak to you, to bid you welcome.
- William Ewart Gladstone
