The Story of Willowrose
The Dreamer

What are the values that Willowrose Village aims to operate by? Here is a list of the values we have chosen. More may be added over time, or these may be refined, but this should give you an idea of how we want to conduct the life and business of this Village.

• beauty - doing and being in a way that is attractive and appealing, that has a winsomeness to it
• excellence, quality - products and services that really do what they say they will do - and do it very well
• wise time & resource management - developing systems to make the best use of our - and your - time and resources
• joy - and fun - this is about taking pleasure in what you do (the kind that makes others wish they could have that too!)
• truth - speaking the truth that sets people free to be themselves at their best, that frees people to only acquire those products or services that are right and good for them
• integrity - being credible and trustworthy
• openness - of attitude (not that we blab about everything – but have an open heart and mind)
• service - it's much more than just about money - it's about making a difference in the lives of others
• creativity - something all of us have in one way or another - here we want to encourage that in some special ways
• passion - that special something that makes life worth living, that fuels the motivation to accomplish great things, to hang in there through the difficult times
• success - helping people discover their definition of success and providing the knowledge and tools that will help to get them there
• community - the value of having like-minded people to share with, to grow with, to be encouraged and helped and challenged by
• giving - generosity of heart and spirit, also shown in supporting our special charities
• people first - while we want to see great business and art come out of this, we also want to pay attention to the people who do the art and business

• building up, not tearing down - except to replace something not working with something better
• Christian - the Christian values of loving God and loving our neighbour, of expressing a winsome Christianity that will encourage people to see the wonder of the God who so passionately loves us and wants the best for us.
