Cochrane Homecheck Fees

Our goal is to maintain and look after your house while you are away. While we give some basic fees below, they are more to give you a general idea of prices, because each home and homeowner are unique. So we will create a package with you that best fits your specific needs.

We will start with our basic package and then you can add whatever extra elements you feel you want from our Custom list or even other things that we may not have on our list, but that you need to have done.

Once we have a finalized list of what you want done, we will give you a quote for your review and approval.

Then you can rest easy, knowing that your home is being well cared for in your absence.

Basic Package .........................$20/visit
Includes:
A general walk-through of your house just to see that everything is okay.
A Water-Systems Check - faucets, toilets, hot-water tank.
An Appliances Check - fridge, freezer, furnace or air-conditioner.
Clean up any fliers or junk mail left outside.
Water up to 10 indoor plants as needed.

Custom Extras
Note: These prices are for general information purposes only. Details of these extras will be discussed with you during our initial visit and prices based on the actual needs required - for example, if several items can be done on the same trip, there may only be one charge or a lesser charge made.
Collect and forward mail.............$5/once a week (plus forwarding costs)
Mow the lawn ...............$20/half hour
Water the lawn ...............$20/session
Water outdoor plants or garden............$10/session
Do the gardening.............$20/half hour
Clear away snow in winter ............$20/half hour
Housecleaning (after you leave, before you return)........$25/hour
Start/idle your vehicles ..........$5/vehicle (1-2 vehicles)
Mileage for out-of-town visits ............$.50/km
