IDEA CATCHERS
One of my favorite ways to keep creativity alive is to have "idea catchers" all over the place. What are "idea catchers"? Pens and pieces of paper, notepads, post-it notes or whatever happens to be handy that I can write on. I have them at every place I regularly sit at home. I have them in my purse or coat pocket. And any time something catches my attention, I write it down. Then at some point they get added to one of my notebooks or journals or put in a file where I can revisit them when I want to. Need an idea? I just go scrounge through my ideas collection and I can always come up with something to get me going.
